Weight and Wellbeing
Weight and Wellbeing is a programme to support people who are trying to lose weight and improve their sense of wellbeing.
Weight is often linked with self-esteem and confidence in building relationships with other people. It is also an issue heavy with social expectations and cultural values.
My aim is not to help you lose weight, but rather to achieve a relationship with your body which is affirming, liberating and life-giving.
What I want to provide is a form of accompaniment which supports you in your own personal process, alongside elements such as healthy eating, exercise and other lifestyle changes.
Often it helps to address a concern if we understand where it is coming from, its roots. I can offer you a series of self-reflection exercises to help you become more aware of the drivers of your eating habits, where they originate from and how to build a more compassionate and affirming relationship with your body. You can find examples of these exercises here.
